What started as one man’s mission to rescue industrial history from the scrap heap became something far more extraordinary – a fantastical landscape where steampunk dreams meet space-age visions, and discarded machinery transforms into mythical creatures poised for celestial flight.
Dr. Evermor’s Sculpture Park showcases the life’s work of Tom Every, a demolition expert turned visionary artist who spent decades collecting antique machinery and forgotten industrial treasures.
When he retired from the wrecking business in the 1980s, Every assumed the persona of Dr. Evermor – a fictional Victorian inventor – and began assembling his spectacular collection into the world’s largest scrap metal sculpture park.
The centerpiece is the magnificent Forevertron, a 300-ton space-travel machine that stands as the second-largest scrap metal sculpture on Earth.
