Since 1975, Vande Walle’s Candies has transformed from Grandma Vande Walle’s kitchen experiments into Wisconsin’s most celebrated chocolate destination, earning the prestigious title of Best Chocolate Shop in Wisconsin.
What started as wrapped caramels and a few hand-dipped chocolates at Mehlberg Bakery in Shawano has blossomed into a confectionery empire offering over 95 varieties of chocolates and handcrafted confections.
The Vande Walle brothers (Don Jr., Steve, and Tom) have preserved their grandmother’s original recipes while expanding into premium ice cream, award-winning bakery products, and their legendary Heavenly Angelfood candy that melts on your tongue without a single chew.
