Since 1963, this family-owned haven has been creating unforgettable memories for visitors who want to experience nature up close.
Originally called “Bambi Land” (until Disney objected!), the park earned its current name through a clever contest that referenced the classic TV show Bonanza.
What started as a simple deer park has evolved into a comprehensive wildlife education center spanning 17 wooded acres, where rehabilitation and rescue animals find sanctuary while teaching visitors about conservation and wildlife care.
