Picture walking through a door and instantly being transported to childhood – that magical moment when your eyes widened at the sight of endless candy possibilities.
Old Glory Candy delivers exactly that experience, housed in a beautifully nostalgic space that makes both kids and adults feel like they’re stepping back in time.
Founded in 2013 by two local couples – Curt and Karen Preston alongside James and Jenny Maltbey – this charming candy haven was born from a vacation inspiration at Yellowstone National Park.
After discovering an old-fashioned candy store in Virginia City, Montana, they knew Shawano deserved its own sweet destination.
The shop recently moved to a much larger location at 126 S Main Street in downtown Shawano, offering more space and visibility while maintaining that intimate, nostalgic charm.
