Wyalusing State Park stands as one of Wisconsin’s oldest state parks, established in 1917 on 2,628 acres at the confluence of the Mississippi and Wisconsin rivers, offering visitors a rare glimpse into both natural splendor and profound cultural history.
The park’s name derives from the Lenape word meaning “home of the warrior,” honoring the Munsee-Delaware tribes who settled here in the 19th century.
