Originally built in 1916, the barn was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Central Wisconsin State Fair Round Barn in 1997. This isn’t just any barn – the barn is 150 feet in diameter and 70 feet high, making it officially the world’s largest round barn.
The idea for the Round Barn was conceived by the Central Wisconsin Holstein Breeders Association in the early 1900s.
