Gibson City’s Harvest Moon Drive-In was ranked the second-best drive-in in the country by USA Today.
And even though we have far fewer drive-ins available in the US today, that’s still quite a feat!
This isn’t just another movie theater – it’s a 71-year-old time machine that transforms ordinary summer evenings into unforgettable memories under a canopy of stars.
Established in 1954 and lovingly operated by the Harroun family for over three decades, this nostalgic gem continues to captivate moviegoers from as far as Champaign-Urbana and Bloomington-Normal with its authentic 1950s charm.
We are home to the $2 bill giveaway, retro movie nights, and some of the best drive-in food in the Midwest.
