There’s A Charming Coffee Shop With World-Famous Pies Hiding In Small-Town Gridley

Picture this:

You’re driving down Route 24 between interstates, expecting nothing but gas stations and fast food, when suddenly you discover a coffee shop that rivals anything you’d find in a bustling city.

Located between Interstate 39 and 55 on Route 24 in Gridley, this independently owned café offers hand-crafted sweet and savory pies, unique sandwiches, made-from-scratch baked goods, and hot and cold espresso drinks.

Kyle and Katrina Reinhard opened Common Grounds in 2017 with a simple mission: bringing people together over comfort food and exceptional coffee.

What started as a dream over a piece of German Kuchen pie has blossomed into Gridley’s crown jewel – a place where travelers become regulars and locals gather like family.
