Wander Through This Colorful Bradenton Village Where Every Bungalow Is A Piece Of Art

Picture wandering through rainbow-hued bungalows where working artists create masterpieces behind windows once shuttered by neglect.

The Village of the Arts represents one of Florida’s most successful neighborhood transformations, where colorfully restored 1920s cottages house everything from award-winning restaurants to healing arts centers.

This eclectic live-work community spans 36 acres and contains over 275 individual properties, making it the largest artist community on Florida’s West Coast.

Located just five blocks from downtown Bradenton, this vibrant district offers visitors a rare glimpse into authentic artistic life. Founded in 1999 through the efforts of the Artists Guild of Manatee, the Village has evolved from a neglected area into one of Manatee County’s most visited destinations.
