Picture this: a family recipe for perfect steaks that’s been carefully guarded since Harry Truman was president. Linda’s La Cantina has been serving Central Florida since 1947, making it the oldest restaurant in Central Florida.
This isn’t your typical chain steakhouse experience – you’ll discover a no-nonsense local institution where USDA choice steaks are cut on site and prepared with decades of expertise.
The restaurant has survived being torn down in 1979, a devastating fire in December 1994, and countless Orlando dining trends, yet it continues drawing hour-long waits purely on the strength of its legendary steaks.
You’ll find yourself among generations of Orlando families who consider this their special occasion destination, where celebrations have been happening at classic black and white-checked tablecloths for over seven decades.
