The May-Stringer House stands as a four-story, seven-gable, gingerbread-trimmed “Painted Lady” Victorian home that has earned the title of Florida’s most haunted house.
This isn’t just another historic home tour – it’s a journey through 170 years of tragedy, mystery, and unexplained phenomena that continues to captivate visitors from around the world. Built in 1855 by John L. May as a simple four-room home for his family, the house has witnessed generations of joy and sorrow, life and death.
The museum contains over 10,000 artifacts that visitors can view, housed within 14 rooms across four stories.
