The Norton Museum of Art houses over 8,200 works across five curatorial departments: European, American, Chinese, Contemporary Art, and Photography, making it a cultural powerhouse that many visitors discover feels both grand and welcoming.
Founded in 1941 by industrialist Ralph Hubbard Norton and his wife Elizabeth Calhoun Norton, this Art Deco gem has transformed dramatically since its $60 million expansion reopened in 2019.
