Welcome to dessert paradise where Asian-European fusion meets Instagram-worthy artistry. Icy-N-Spicy combines the ice cream flavors of Europe and Asia, with phenomenal signature recipes of spicy ice cream created by owner Xiaoli Liu from China’s Sichuan province.
Located in the lobby of the Carlyle, one of Miami’s famous and historical buildings on Ocean Drive, this family-run dessert shop transforms sweet treats into edible masterpieces.
Owner Xiaoli Liu serves rainbow-colored treats with European and Asian influences, such as desserts that combine Japanese mochi ice cream and French macarons.
What started as a love story between Xiaoli and her husband Dejan has blossomed into South Beach’s most photogenic dessert destination, where three generations of Chinese dessert recipes meet Miami’s vibrant beach culture.
