Caribbean breezes carry the scent of garlic and Key lime while charter boats bob gently outside the windows. Since 1947, Alonzo’s Oyster Bar has been a celebrated culinary landmark in Key West, and this waterfront gem delivers something truly special – fresh seafood at the only restaurant in Key West to boast water on three sides.
Located dockside in the Historic Seaport, Alonzo’s serves up fresh seafood with a great view and represents the more casual, affordable version of the upstairs A&B Lobster House. You’ll find yourself perfectly positioned to watch boats come and go and the people pass by on the harbor walk, while possibly spotting a manatee, a fishing vessel returning and cleaning its fresh catch, or the daily feeding of the tarpon.
Seafood Specialties & Signature Towers
The Famous Seafood Towers: Alonzo’s menu celebrates the ocean with six different seafood towers including the impressive Treasure Chest Tower and Shipwreck Tower, artfully assembled with an array of oysters, lobster tails, shrimp, and more.
These towering platters create an impressive display that is as pleasing to the eye as it is to your palate – perfect for sharing and Instagram-worthy photos.
Daily Fresh Oysters: True to its oyster bar name, Alonzo’s provides a daily selection of different oysters, each variety showcasing their unique flavor profiles. You can also sample Bluepoint oysters with caviar and sour cream or in an Asian oyster preparation with soy and wasabi.
